Ett nödvändigt ont : våld och revolutionära ideal i Christopher Nolans Batman-trilogi

Abstract
Revolution. The word makes one think about two things: violence and social change. Is it even possible to achieve change on a large scale without the use of force? This thesis asks the question what a revolution is and whether or not it is dependent on violence to achieve its goals. To answer those questions i have performed an analysis of the violence and revolutionary ideals put forth in Christopher Nolans Dark Knight-trilogy. My conclusion is that even though violence is not essential to achieve change it is most certainly difficult to avoid in a society that has come to believe that violence works.
