Abstract (Swedish)
Swinging feminity, A study of chick flick genre In this paper I attempt to study different characterizations of chick flicks in Europe and USA. A vital hypothesis for this paper is that American movies adapt a post-feministic approach where European films usually embrace feminism in their characterization. This hypothesis is based on the orientation of western feminism theory after its crisis during the 1980's. (Less)
