Abstract
The purpose of this thesis has been to categorize the criticism that the pro-Israeli side presents against UNRWA. With a rhetorical perspective I have carefully examined an academic journal with an expressed pro-American agenda to find the main theses of the criticism. There is constantly a use of ethos, logos and pathos. An example of ethos is how they refer to resolutions and officials from the UNRWA, logos is used when the authors presents facts and let the reader come to same conclusions and an example of pathos is how the authors continuously associates UNRWA with terrorist organizations and other “enemy groups”.
