Abstract
This essay examines the Twilight fandom and the experience of being a fan. Our main purpose is to show the fandom culture from the fan’s point of view. This ambition stems from the notion that the Twilight fans themselves seldom are addressed and allowed to speak in their own words in regards to what it means to be a Twilight fan and how they pratice their fandom. The mediated discourses tends to devalue the Twilight fandom and in the end even the Twilight fans themselves.
