- The amount of electronic information is growing continuously in the corporate world and companies need to make sure to have a good solution for it to make effective use of time and document handling. A good task management is also an important part of a company’s structure to not create unnecessarily work.
With this master thesis we have found a solution where a Workflow-software
is implemented to handle these problems. Workflow-softwares are programs
which digitalize and handles document and task management in business
processes. To this end, FormPipe Platina is a good choice.
The situation at Resurs Bank has been that most of the company’s document

The situation at Resurs Bank has been that most of the company’s document
management has been managed manually. Staff has, for example, printed out
the customer’s mail-inquiries for private loan on paper to place it as a task in a paper pile. This is, of course, not effective management and, in front of all,this has made it impossible for personnel to get information on the process of customer’s inquiries and applications. Our task has therefore been made to search out and handpick a few Workflow
management softwares, both licensed and open source, to test and evaluate
these to make sure the requirement of better document management at Resurs
Bank is fulfilled and therefore provide better service for personnel and
customers.
Our evaluation has given that FormPipe Platina is the software best suited to implement at Resurs Bank. This is because of good configuration possibilities,usability and detailed tracking. FormPipe Platina is well established at companies around Sweden and has the potential to solve Resurs Bank’s issues of automation of documents and task management. (Less)
