The gap between those who have access to health care is becoming more noticeable, even though we now live in a society with more developed global prosperity. This paper intends to study the health status of Roma in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have studied their situation from a socioeconomic per-spective to see how it affects their health. Several studies have shown that there is a correlation between low socioeconomic status and poor... (More)

This paper intends to study the health status of Roma in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have studied their situation from a socioeconomic per-spective to see how it affects their health. Several studies have shown that there is a correlation between low socioeconomic status and poor health, especially for marginal-ized groups in the society. Although this status is not proclaimed in the Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights extended commentary, General Comment No. 14. (Less)
