- Abstract
- ABB Swedewater has designed and manufactured pump stations and cooling systems for many years. During this time, several different designs on frames have been developed. Most of these are based on welded steel profiles which are then painted. For smaller pump stations bolted profiles and bent plates are used. Today there is a need to find a more modern design that reduces the design time in the projects and also is cost effective and flexible.
Several areas are taken in consideration during the design process e.g. strength, lifting solutions, material consumption and production cost.
