Although the teenagers answers differed in certain contexts, you could see many parables in their experiences. All of the teenagers are well on their way on becoming self-sufficient or have a good future plan on how to become self-sufficient. We analyzed the collected material by writing based on the transnational perspective, but also by applying what previous research says about unaccompanied refugee teenagers. The results show that the teenagers have both positive as well as negative experiences from their time in Sweden, some of the teenagers have had problems with Swedish authorities, which accordingly to the teenagers to some extent is caused by too little knowledge about the teenagers backgrounds and personalities. The teenagers feel that good treatment and good help comes from the authority that takes the time and effort to make contact with them. (Less)
