- Abstract
- The purpose of this essay is to examine the Swedish democrat’s action program, "Oppression in the name of honor-and how we stop a growing problem in Sweden.” The focus will be on how The Swedish Democrats’ Women's Association talks about honor. The main questions are what perception of honor-related violence and oppression that are expressed in the action program, how the Swedish Democrat´s Women Association understands culture, gender and ethnicity and how they describe the situation of the women in honor cultures.
