Abstract
The main purpose of this report is to evaluate the fire safety situation at Katrineholms conference center, focusing on human safety and evacuation possibilities. The building contains conference halls, offices, a nightclub, a restaurant and two cinemas. A risk analysis is made where possible scenarios are estimated and evaluated in regard to probability and consequence. Thereafter the three worst credible cases are picked out for further analysis. The time until untenable conditions occur is calculated by simulations in FDS and calculations by hand. The evacuation time is simulated in Pathfinder and compared with the time until untenable conditions occur.
