All of the results collected from our six interviews, point to positive effects after implementing Lean into the two departments. According to the interviews, these positive effects can be found within these social worker’s every day work-assignments. The main result of this study has resulted in the finding that if an adjustment of Lean as a concept is made within the public sector such as the social services, the social workers has been found as content with working by Lean as a work-method. The interviewed social workers has expressed that with the help of an adjusted Lean-version, they have found an increased level of efficiency in their work, but also better focus on their clients, due to an elaborated standardized working-method.
