- The bachelor thesis contains a study about the virtual world of commercially fashion and as an aspect of this the social media instagram and its democratizing features in a fashion system. Today as a user of social media we are always open for communication and interaction of some kind with the help of our mobile phones. This has changed merchandising within fashion and the way it promotes itself. The interaction that happens between a sender and a recipient in social media is a complex and interesting field to explore which leads to the thesis main purpose; to lighten the researching field of how social media promotes commercially fashion and the interaction it creates and how this can be seen from a fashion system starting-point.
