Together with interviews, former research and Jürgen Habermas’ theory about system and lifeworld I have in my study come to the conclusion that the sharpened law of drink-drive at sea is too strict according to the Swedish boat owners. In almost all accidents at sea when alcohol is involved, these are of high alcohol intake. Sharpening the law has effected the boaters who are drinking in a small and responsible amount and is no longer able to enjoy their boat-life as they are used to. (Less)
