Abstract
Vertical axis wind turbines have vertical rotation axles, unlike traditional wind turbines, which rotate around horizontal axles. Vertical wind turbines convert energy from turbulent winds, pick up wind energy from all directions and are easy to serve. The noise from a vertical axis wind turbine is only one-tenth as strong as horizontal-axle wind turbines, which make it
possible to place the vertical wind turbine close to populated areas.

The shape is adjusted to functionality and the environment where it is placed. To prevent damage to the wind turbine, the blades are twisted, which reduces the load. place a wind turbine on their properties. Besides generating renewable energy, the wind turbine has another important quality, namely its symbolic content, showing the individual homeowner commitment to sustainable development.

Vertical wind turbines are normally a small size wind power plant, which can be mount on houses, buildings or be free standing on the ground on a homeowner property to produce renewable energy. The project is about making a vertical wind turbine for homeowner and is going to follow a sustainable and environmental friendly profile as long as it is possible. The aim is to exploit the energy that surrounds us all, which is the wind with wind power. (Less)
