- Abstract
- To take a nap at the working place is not common and many times not
approved by companies in Europe and North America. This project
investigates and researches the nap and tries to introduce it into the working climate as a working boost rather than a waste of time.

Since the invention of light bulb our lifestyle has changed dramatically. By being able to see after dusk we’re now only spending 6.9 hours per day to sleep, comparing to 10 hours a day before Thomas Edison’s discovery. Since then we’re currently the only mammals who sleep only one time during a day. Research show that many people are suffering from sleep deprivation and most of them don’t know it or cover it up with coffee. Studies prove that a
quick nap in the middle of the day improves our alertness and also increases our performances.
