- Abstract
- This study uses the model of Jamieson, Chapelle and Preiss, along with the extended theories of Chapelle, to evaluate a tool for learning french online, more specifically the Coffee Break French Podcast. The method employed is dual: an expert analysis based on a profound study of the material, and a survey sent to a set of the podcast users. The study finds that the podcasts, along with its supplementary materials, offers high levels of enhanced input, interaction within a persons mind, learner adaptation, practicality (functionality and accessibility) and help available in language production.
