Abstract (Swedish)
Today it is no news that there exists social exclusion and vulnerable groups of people in our cities and all around our country. This is often connected to preconceptions about certain areas. I can see in the face of us people hope of future, dreams and goals. But when and how are we given the opportunity to, irrespective of our knowledge or background, together affect and influence our surroundings.

The purpose with this project is to examine the opportunity for people to influence and affect natural meeting places. I can see in the face of us people hope of future, dreams and goals. But when and how are we given the opportunity to, irrespective of our knowledge or background, together affect and influence our surroundings.

The purpose with this project is to examine the opportunity for people to influence and affect natural meeting places. The goal is to construct a system design with the objective of increasing fellowship and participation in order to generate long term relations between people in varying age groups.

The main focus in this project is Malmö city and the Malmö festival where a deeper understanding and a concept based platform have been designed. The topics during this project have been fellowship, participation, equal terms and temporary meeting places have been explored with the central question in mind: How can design contribute to increased fellowship and community in temporal meeting places between adults, youths and children?

This project contains three different phases and interviews where different methods are chosen in order to get the best possible result in each separate part of the work. The chosen methods are: Secondary scientific research, observation, indirect observation, expert interviews and naturalistic group interviews.

The conclusion from the findings from the method based research became the foundation in the choosen concept at the Malmö festival. A system called “Jag älskar dig för att...” have been designed to involve poeple all the way from before, during and after participating at the festival.

The concept is not based on a “one man show” instead it is based on mutual interest, will and the simplicity to say what you love and think with pen and paper in different contexts. (Less)
