Abstract
This report treats the adjustment of the parameters of an analogous PID-controller using a search method which optimizes a loss-function. A process model is updated periodically by means of a suitable identification algorithm. The loss-function is minimized by using a search algorithm. This is done by comparing the values of the loss-function for different setting of the parameters forming a vertex of a geometric structure in the function space and replacing the vertex with the highest value with a new calculated vertex.
