Abstract
Different models of heat load in a district heating system at Karlstad have been tested. The input of the model contains one climatic dependent part and a profile which depends on time. The climatic inputs are outdoor temperature, solar intensity and wind velocity. The profile tries to describe the consumption of hot water. This model has later been used to predict the heat load for one or a few hours. A Pascal program is also presented which converts diskett formats.
