Abstract
A simple flight simulator has been built up, using an analog computer to simulate the aircraft dynamics.
The dynamics model used, does not represent any particular aircraft. It is nevertheless representative of a large group of conventional aircraft. Simulations clearly show an increased ease in handling the flight simulator, if the pilot has flying experience. This indicates a similarity between real aircraft and the model dynamics.
The use of an analog computer to simulate the aircraft dynamics is sufficient for the elementary model, but is an obstacle to further improvement of the flight simulator. In future development, transfer of the dynamics model to a digital computer should have priority. If the dynamics are computerized,... (More)

In future development, transfer of the dynamics model to a digital computer should have priority. If the dynamics are computerized, quick changes of these can be made. The pilot will have interesting opportunities to compare the dynamics of different aircraft. (Less)
