Abstract
This report presents measuring and identifications of the process in papermachine PM4 Gruvöns Bruk, Grums.
Our intention was, except the measuring itself, to improve, if possible, the system model now used for process control with an IBM 1710 system.
The measurings were accomplished during the last two weeks of February 1969, and included six series of about 2000 samples each using a sampling interval of 0.001 h. The outputs basis weight and moisture were recorded on data cards together with the input's mass flow and steam pressure while perturbing the inputs. The collected information was later transferred to tape in order to enable a rational identification of the system models.
The identifications with the four possible... (More)
