Kostnadseffektivitet för utvärdering av välgörenhetsorganisationer inom hälsa

- Abstract
- This study reviews cost effectiveness figures of health interventions against malaria and intestinal worms, in order to investigate how trustworthy and accurate the estimates are. The figures, measured as cost per Disability Adjusted Life Year (DALY) averted, lay the ground for the ranking of three charities based on cost effectiveness. This ranking is then being compared with the organization GiveWell’s ranking based on more criteria. The method used shows that the ranking remains the same for almost all reviewed outcomes. A meta-regression based on malaria studies was also conducted with the purpose of finding connections between the result of a cost effectiveness analysis and the method used. The regression shows that using non uniform... (More)

- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
