- Vilket förtroende för offentliga välfärdsinstitutioner har transpersoner i Sverige? Denna kandidatuppsats vill undersöka förtroendet för offentliga välfärdsinstitutioner. Förtroende för institutioner verkar påverka i vilken utsträckning en individ vänder sig till välfärdsinstitutioner och litar på välfärden. Detta får konsekvenser i enskilda individers liv. Transpersoner som grupp har enligt de senaste årens folkhälsoundersökningar visat sig ha det sämre psykosocialt ställt än befolkningen i stort och är därför intressant som undersökningsgrupp. Uppsatsen aspirerar att synliggöra transpersoners perspektiv genom att ställa välfärdsfrågor till transpersoner specifikt via en enkätundersökning. Vi menar att förtroende kan studeras genom ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv. Därför kommer denna uppsats beröra institutionellt förtroende utifrån Rothstein och Stolles teori och studera resultaten socialpsykologiskt utifrån Johansson. Undersökningen som ligger till grund för uppsatsen befinner sig i rummet mellan hälsostudier och välfärdsstudier och vilar på två ben: institutionell sociologi och socialpsykologi. Våra resultat ser ut att bekräfta tidigare forskning om förtroendets bestämningsfaktorer. Våra resultat visar att förtroendet för offentliga välfärdsinstitutioner hos transpersoner bestäms av samma faktorer som hos befolkningen i stort. (Less)

This bachelorthesis aims to survey the trust in welfare institutions. Trust in institutions seems to affect to which extent people turn to and trust in welfare and will hence have consequences on individuals everyday-lives. Trangender people have, according to recent years Public Health Surveys, an inferior psychosocial position compared to the population at large and is thus an interesting group to investigate. By asking transgender people to give their views on welfare we hope to increase the visibility of their perspective. Our underlying survey is positioned between Health Surveys and Welfare Studies and rests on two pillars: institutional sociology and social psychology. Our results confirm previous research concerning the determinants of trust. Our results show that transgender trust in welfare is decided by the same factors as the populations trust at large. (Less)
