The theoretical framework that has been used is Bourdieu’s perspective of habitus, capital and taste along with Goffman’s dramaturgical perspective. The study shows that there are many underlying aspects influencing the informants choice of clothing style. A major factor in this choice is the informants separate backgrounds, which have given them different perceptions and values that make them attracted to different sororities and styles. Moreover, the belonging to one sorority influences the informants, which eventually develop a similar taste within the sorority. Lastly, this study also draws the conclusion that similar clothing style is a big part of group cohesion (Less)
