The author has examined the position of Hammarskjöld-Reiz in three different models of explanation – gender, geography and building types. Three of her building projects, which also take place in the historical writing, have been studied more close, to investigate the type of architecture she worked with. The result of the examination tells that she has a marginal position in the architectural history writing. This is mainly because of the building types and style of architecture she worked with, but also because of a bigger structure where women artists does not get the same place and position in the stories of art and architectural history.
