Abstract
This thesis project challenges the current municipality plans for Trollhättan 4, 6 and 7 in Malmö and suggests an alternative vision for the place. Instead of working with high-density offices, residential buildings and retail, the project aims to work with a program such as spa and a bath with a distinct public character.
Popular Abstract
This thesis project is an alternative vision for a new spa and bath program with a distinct public character. Bathhouses have the potential of becoming a natural meeting place for different types of people regardless of age, gender or nationality. The ambition was to create a platform where all these people can benefit from. Parts of the project were dedicated to investigate on ways architecture can engage and interplay with the public.
