- Abstract
- Gamification and User Engagement are two important and constantly growing subjects, useful when designing applications for mobile devices. This master's thesis tries to combine the two of them while building an Android application called "Life Challenge". The application was built with respect to the principles and conclusions drawn from the research of Gamification and User Engagement, following the process of User-Centred Design. The application was then evaluated by performing several "think aloud" usability tests, and one final one-week usability test.
