are not included as main categories in any of the health policy documents, but that the Swedish
region Gävleborg can be positive in their ability to maintain a gender equal development. In the
strategy towards equality, gender is mentioned as one of several possible factors that can have
a health impact on individuals. The discourse of including the gender perspective in policies is
similar at all different levels, proving that the international influences on regional work is
evident. (Less)
