- The purpose with this study was to describe and analyze the hospital church function and importance in hospital care and its relation to the hospital counselor work. This study will also present the division of labor between the hospital church and hospital counselors. Under result and analyze section were the problems shown which the professions highlighted, such as lack of time to work together and to achieve a good safety net for patients. There is also an uncertainty from both professions and in some cases a pronounced reluctance to cooperation between professions. It was also showed that the professionalism can be a hindrance in their way to pursue their work in a desirable manner.
