- Abstract
- This bachelor thesis builds on an uneven diabetic health care, more specific at Swedish medical clinics where patients with type-1 diabetes are being treated. Today patients are not able to get the same benefits, the access and quality of health care is based on where patients are getting their treatment. However, this is not compatible with the Swedish law saying that the purpose of health care is supposed to be good and equal for the whole population.
Three county councils are in focus for this study: Västra Götaland, Kalmar, and Skåne. The procedure is based in Lennart Lundquists theory of implementation, how the steering is successful or not. The topics that will be in focus for this investigation are will, can and understanding.... Three county councils are in focus for this study: Västra Götaland, Kalmar, and Skåne. The procedure is based in Lennart Lundquists theory of implementation, how the steering is successful or not. The topics that will be in focus for this investigation are will, can and understanding. Two persons from each county councils were chosen out for interviews, one from the profession and one politician.
The outcome of this thesis rule out will as single answer to the question, thus it may still affect can and understanding. However, the analysis clearly shows that can has a huge impact on the implementation and that understanding often is connected to it. (Less)
