- Studiens syfte var att undersöka 1) vad deltagarna i studien upplever underlättar respektive försvårar utövandet av självmedkänsla, samt hur de upplever att dessa faktorer påverkar utövandet, och 2) vilka effekter av utövandet av självmedkänsla som deltagarna i studien upplever att det ger, samt på vilket sätt de upplever att utövandet leder till dessa effekter. Urvalet bestod av sex kvinnor mellan 22 och 34 år. Med hjälp av givna instruktioner utövade deltagarna självmedkänsla under en veckas tid och registrerade i samband med detta sina upplevelser i strukturerade dagböcker. Med studiens resultat hoppas vi ha bidragit till en fördjupad förståelse för människors upplevelser av underlättande och försvårande faktorer samt effekter i samband med utövande av självmedkänsla. Our hope is that this study has contributed to a deeper understanding of people’s experiences of facilitating and obstructing factors and effects in conjunction with the practice of self-compassion.
