Abstract (Swedish)
Resultatet... (More)

(Less)
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine psychological and social factors in the work environment. This was done based on two hypotheses with a focus on bullying, destructive leadership and social climate. The first hypothesis stated that individuals who reported that they had been exposed to higher levels of workplace bullying behaviors also reported a more destructive leadership. The second hypothesis stated that individuals who reported that they had been exposed to higher levels of workplace bullying behaviors also reported a worse social climate.
The study was conducted with a digital survey based on the answers from 110 people between the ages of 21 and 63. The survey consisted of parts from QPSNordic, Destrudo-L and Negative Acts... (More)

The first hypothesis stated that individuals who reported that they had been exposed to higher levels of workplace bullying behaviors also reported a more destructive leadership. The study was conducted with a digital survey based on the answers from 110 people between the ages of 21 and 63. The survey consisted of parts from QPSNordic, Destrudo-L and Negative Acts Questionnaire - Revised. The result was analyzed by dividing the participants into two groups based on their reports of high or low exposure to bullying behaviors. The results from the survey supported both hypotheses and showed a difference between the groups, where the group that reported high on bullying behaviors also experienced more destructive leadership and a worse social climate. The correlation analysis showed a high significant relationship for both workplace bullying and destructive leadership as well as for social climate and workplace bullying. (Less)
