- Abstract
- This study aims to evaluate Malmö stad integration work regarding the integration of incoming overseas women to the employment sector. In order to understand what Malmö stad integration work means, the overall establishment policy of the governmental offices is evaluated.
Malmö stad receives six hundred immigrant every year. In Malmo there is already housing shortage, and Sweden is already faced with problems and difficulties regarding the integration of new arrivals to the country. With this background this question arises, what does Malmö's integration work process look like for newly arrived overseas women?

The materials for this study include final report of the Government Chancellor, handlingsplan, internationella kvinnosamordnad handlingsplan from FINSAM and Metodstöd.
The theory for this study is Milton Gordon's assimilation theory. His theory is about how new arrivals immigrant can integration into a new country.
The result of this study shows that Malmö stad integration working process is useful for economic integration of new-comers. However, in order to be fully successful regarding the integration, Malmö stad should considers all aspects of a successful integration (Less) - Popular Abstract
