Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
Abstract
This qualitative study took part in family therapists' reflections on family therapy at BUP in Blekinge. The purpose of the study was to understand how they reflected on what family therapy was for them at BUP, what were the factors involved and if they had thoughts about family disability need to be more visible on BUP. The study shows that family therapists looked at family therapy as a method of specific competence, unlike a family perspective, which is more an approach. Family therapists also saw effective factors in the method, and specifically focus on seeing the child in its entire context in relational terms. At the same time, they were humble and saw that family therapies need to keep up with their development and that child... (More)

At the same time, they were humble and saw that family therapies need to keep up with their development and that child psychiatry needs to be represented in Blekinge's research context. Family therapists also suggested that family therapy research needed to demonstrate direct results between family therapy and symptoms or diagnosis to be more useful at BUP. (Less)
