Problem: 1. How are the requirements of client and needs end-user met? 2. What factors should be considered in communication between project managers, clients and end-users? 3. How should feedback work? Purpose: The aim is to focus on communication and feedback in construction projects. To investigate how communication works today to meet customer and user requirements to increase customer satisfaction with the project's final result. And explore how to work with feedback. Method: In order to answer the problem formulas, literature studies and qualitative interviews have been conducted. The case study are two refurbished office projects. Through involvement, customer satisfaction is increased, which is important from a business perspective. The requirements formulated must be clear and linked to time and economy. These requirements should be formulated in the construction program.
Communication in construction projects should be carefully planned for the information to reach the relevant parties. It is important to work actively to communicate information from the project to the concerned. The difficulty today is that communication is taken for granted that does not require any planning. Actually communication requires more attention to work flawlessly. Feedback should be continuous and be adapted to the activity that is the recipient of the information. It´s important that the feedback is relevant to the recipient and that it is understandable. In summary, projects should focus on creating a good basic structure, enabling you to take greater account of people in the project and focus on communication and feedback. Keywords: Requirements, the early phase in the building process, end-user involvement, communication and feedback. (Less)
