Abstract
Video recruitment is a form of recruitment that has grown in the recent years as a result of the rapid digital development within the field of Human Resource Management. Studies within eHRM (electronic Human Resource Management) have mainly focused on an organizational perspective, leaving knowledge gaps regarding the candidate’s experience. Företag X has noticed from their own recruitment processes that more candidates tend to drop out when using video recruitment. Video recruitment is a form of recruitment that has grown in the recent years as a result of the rapid digital development within the field of Human Resource Management. Företag X has noticed from their own recruitment processes that more candidates tend to drop out when using video recruitment. The results related to two well established psychological theories within the field of motivation and technology acceptance: Theory of Planned Behavior and Technology acceptance model. Themes such as human interaction, social norms, attitudes towards the process, control and perceived fairness were highlighted. The result of the study can affect how Företag X will choose to develop the use of video interviews, but also motivate other companies to initiate the use of video interviews. With this insight to the candidates experience the possibilities to enhance video interviews increases. (Less)

Videorekrytering är en form av rekrytering som möjliggjorts inom ramen av den digitala utvecklingen, som under de senaste åren haft stor påverkan och förändrat HR-avdelningarnas sätt att arbeta. Studier kring eHRM (elektronisk Human Resource Management) har haft mycket fokus på organisationens perspektiv, och kunskapsluckor har uppstått kring kandidaternas upplevelse av detta nya sätt att rekrytera. Resultaten kopplades an till två väletablerade teorier inom området för motivation och acceptans av ny teknologi: Theory of Planned Behavior och Technology acceptance model. Teman som togs upp handlade om mänsklig interaktion, sociala normer, attityder till processen, kontroll och upplevd rättvisa. Studiens resultat kan påverka hur Företag X väljer att utveckla användandet av videointervjuer runt om i världen men även motivera andra företag att initiera användandet av videointervjuer. Genom att få en inblick i kandidaternas erfarenhet skapas en möjlighet för utveckling av videointervjuer. (Less)
