Abstract
The point of this study is to give clarity and define how politicians look at lobbyism and bribery and where they define that the line goes, if any such line exists.

The question for the essay is how the politicians look at bribery, how they define it, how they define lobbyism and if there are any differences or similarities between the two.

The results show that they have difficulties defining bribery and where the line for lobbyism goes. Bribery is less common in countries where lobbyism is legal, and corruption and bribery are more common in countries where lobbyism is banned and illegal.

The line around what is a bribe is blurred. Perhaps because there is not much research done about lobbyism and bribery and if it is done, it... (More)

The results show that they have difficulties defining bribery and where the line for lobbyism goes. Bribery is less common in countries where lobbyism is legal, and corruption and bribery are more common in countries where lobbyism is banned and illegal.

The line around what is a bribe is blurred. Perhaps because there is not much research done about lobbyism and bribery and if it is done, it tends to get interlinked and tangled together. You don´t look at lobbyism and bribery separately but as a hole. (Less)
