Survival sit- uations and preparedness in the face of both natural disasters and societal crises might become less of an “if“ and more of a “when“. What happens if we look at an everyday object as a tool for survival? It has the basic added functions you need to survive for three to seven days. By working with the guiding light of doing a lot with a lit- tle I have integrated an abstract system into the jacket that will allow the users creativity to adapt to a multitude of situations, not only dedicated to survival situations but also to everyday life, thus making it truly adaptable.
