I dagens samhälle har vi ett mer flexibelt arbetsliv än tidigare och människor byter jobb i större utsträckning. Tidigare forskning har visat att en ökad self-efficacy och arbetstillfredsställelse leder till positiva följder för anställda. Dessutom har tidigare studier visat på en korrelation mellan self-efficacy och job satisfaction. Det finns dock en begränsad mängd studier om occupational self-efficacy. Syftet med denna studien var att undersöka om en hög occupational self-efficacy leder till en hög arbetstillfredsställelse hos anställda på ett bemanning och rekryteringsföretag. Syftet var också att se om korrelationen skiljer sig åt mellan inre, yttre och generell arbetstillfredsställelse och occupational self-efficacy.

Dessutom har tidigare studier visat på en korrelation mellan self-efficacy och job satisfaction. Det finns dock en begränsad mängd studier om occupational self-efficacy. Syftet med denna studien var att undersöka om en hög occupational self-efficacy leder till en hög arbetstillfredsställelse hos anställda på ett bemanning och rekryteringsföretag. Syftet var också att se om korrelationen skiljer sig åt mellan inre, yttre och generell arbetstillfredsställelse och occupational self-efficacy.
Datan samlades in genom en enkätundersökning och analyserades genom SPSS. Urvalsgruppen var en grupp anställda på ett bemanning-och rekryteringsföretag i Sverige. Resultatet visade på en positiv signifikant korrelation mellan occupational self-efficacy och arbetstillfredsställelse. Signifikanta positiva korrelationer kunde också hittas mellan occupational self-efficacy och inre och yttre arbetstillfredsställelse. Ingen större skillnad mellan korrelationerna för inre och yttre arbetstillfredsställelse och occupational self-efficacy kunde hittas.

Previous research has indicated that an increased level of self-efficacy and job satisfaction leads to positive consequenses for the employees. Furthermore, research has proven a correlation between self-efficacy and job satisfaction. However, the amount of research on occupational self-efficacy is limited. The data was collected through a survey and analysed via SPSS. The sample was a group of employees at a staffing and recruitment company in Sweden. The result demonstrated a significant positive correlation between occupational self-efficacy and job satisfaction. Significant positive correlations were also found between occupational self-efficacy and intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. The study did not find big differences regarding instrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction and occupational self-efficacy.
