Abstract (Swedish)
The investigation of children's and young people’s need for protection and safety is carried out by social services and is regulated by Socialtjänstlagen chapter 1, § 2. In order to achieve this objective, we chose a qualitative perspective as method for this study. This means that we collected the experiences of four social workers as empirical evidence through four interviews, using a convenience sample. The results of the study showed that the use of LACS improved social workers sense of quality of the follow-ups, and feelings of insecurity of the individual social worker affected how social workers experience that they prepare for follow-ups and act during follow- ups of outpatient care. Within the conclusive section, we also addressed the discrepancy found between our previous research and final results. (Less)
