Abstract
This bachelor project by Filip Charmolu is a project
where a product series has been created for a brand,
Design House Stockholm. Out of passion for building
products for brands a product development process
started where brand identity of Design House Stockholm
became the starting point and led the way forward.

External and internal information about the brand from

ultimately the creation of Rio, a series of containers in
different sizes. Corporate thinking and creativity in a
symbiosis.

The product is by my beliefs a fitting product for Design
House Stockholm in the brands’ current state. Product
aim is a broad use, for a price that stands in contrary
to more expensive items from the brand, with dimin-
ished sales as one of the underlying factors.

Rio containers sets the user in focus when it comes to
usage, with freedom to store everything from food to
small objects and serve or display with the lid on or off.

Rio also has it’s purpose in increasing company profits
with a lower price point to be an easy-buy or bought as
a gift where this type of product usually don’t fit. (Less)
