- Abstract
- Social movements are a way for individuals to engage in environmental policy issues. In

different environmental movements, the study can show that participation in the
environmental policy debate depends primarily on individual experiences and the ontological
perception. Since the ontological perception differs between individuals, active participation
can differ drastically depending on the environmental problem. The study also focuses on
how human anthropocentric ideology lies behind the environmental disasters that we live with
today. The study consists of primary data in the form of a questionnaire and secondary data.
The two different types of information sources are compared to later draw conclusions with
relevant theory. (Less)
