The questions asked are “how does marginally employed in Germany answer to questions regarding their employment and how can the approach towards their work situation be evaluated?” and “what portrait of employees in Mini-jobs appear in the material in comparison with full-time employees?”. The research method used is regression analysis combined with descriptive statistics in order to reveal possible symptomatic patterns within the data. The findings indicate that holding a Mini-job correlates negatively with measures of satisfaction with personal income, job, and overall life situation, and that Mini-jobbers tend to struggle with relatively more insecurity in their lives.
