Using a quantitative method, analysing several measurements for the Circular Economy, with the factors of politics, economy and organisation and administration. Using a quantitative method, analysing several measurements for the Circular Economy, with the factors of politics, economy and organisation and administration. The statistical analyses showed that previous research on implementation could not explain implementation of EU policies in Swedish municipalities. Instead trends that are in opposition to the previous research were spotted, when examining the factors for good implementation. The thesis concludes that more research on EU policy implementation on Swedish municipalities are need, as the implementation are not getting better when the green party are in the governing coalition in a municipality, neither is good economy a factor for better implementation. Organisation and administration could not explain the implementation as in cases more actors involved in the implementation process should negative trends and made it worse. (Less)
