which of the theorists predict the correct outcome institutional transparency has on political trust. The dependent variable, political trust, is measured with data from The European Social Survey. This study uses data from The Right to Information-rating to assess different levels of the main independent variable; institutional transparency, in
different countries. For the statistical analysis, a multiple regression is used. My result signals that the relationship between my main variables is non-existing. However, no certain conclusions are drawn due to the failure to distinguish other explanatory variables. (Less)
