Due to the interest regarding the Moroccan unaccompanied boys living on the streets of Sweden, the purpose of this study is therefore to further examine the controversy between the social and legal norms regarding what Swedish authorities can and cannot do against the Moroccan boys in Sweden who are suspect of criminal activities. In order to understand and further examine the thesis, the essay took the time to study the unaccompanied Moroccan refugee children, the Swedish police, the Swedish Migrations Office and Social Services. Further studies made about the Swedish laws and regulations as well as interviewing two employed staff members from the police and Migration Office and a web based survey to understand how much knowledge the public have regarding the Police work against the criminal activities the Moroccan boys commit.
