Thereafter a synthesis of the main concepts covering the diverse perspectives on social encounters has been made into a set of guidelines. These set of featuring guidelines is then visualized into specific spatial qualities and tested out on the case study of the parking lot of Lund Central Station. This exploration of the guidelines within the case study is carried through as a means of investigating its potential to generate social encounters through the means of creating to some extent a sense of affect and sympathy among the commuting citizens.
