Abstract
The aim of this study is to gain some understanding how adolescents which are selling sex is not noticed by social workers in spite of the fact that the adolescents often are in contact with the social welfare system. The study builds on empirical material from five qualitative semi structured interviews with social workers in different workplaces. The theoretical framework guiding the analysis is based on the theory about human service organizations. The key findings is that the way social work is specialized demands social workers to cooperate in order to gain a holistic view of the adolescent as a client.
