- Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka upplevelsen av daglig feedback, så kallad informell feedback, på arbetsplatser och om den överensstämmer mellan medarbetare och chefer. Denna kvantitativa undersökning skapades utifrån mätinstrumentet Feedback Environment Scale (FES). En undersökningsgrupp med både medarbetare och chefer ingick i studien, bestående av ett 10 minuters frågeformulär (baserat på FES) om upplevelsen av den dagliga feedbacken från chefer till medarbetare på arbetsplatser. Totalt deltog 14 chefer och 41 medarbetare i studien. Delskalan “positiv feedback” visade en signifikant skillnad mellan mätgrupperna och generellt fann både medarbetare och chefer att tillit mellan parterna var den viktigaste faktorn för en välfungerande feedback-miljö. Resultaten redogjorde även aspekten “trovärdighet” som den mest förekommande och aspekten “tillgänglighet” som den minst förekommande delskalan på arbetsplatserna. Utifrån resultaten i undersökningen drogs slutsatsen att studiens deltagare till övervägande delen gav stöd för att medarbetare och chefer hade en gemensam upplevelse av feedbacken på arbetsplatserna. The aspect of “positive feedback” was found significantly different between the two, and both parties found that trust was the most important factor for well functioning feedback environment. The results also showed “source credibility” as most occurring and “availability” as the least occurring aspect in the workplace. A conclusion was made that even though employees found supervisors unavailable, they felt supervisors were trustworthy and have high credibility. The correspondence in perception of daily feedback concluded a common view of how organisations work with feedback environment. (Less)
