How women's parental ability was affected is also highly individual, according to our interviewees. In summary, the study highlights the importance for professionals in the field to be aware of the overall picture in the womens well-being. For example, by not isolating sleep difficulties and memory loss to that the woman is just tired the discovery that the woman is traumatized can be made. By being attentive, the woman can get the help she needs both as an individual and as a mother. (Less)
